Updated Pool Rules

We hope this message finds you well. In light of recent events, the Board has made the decision to implement new pool rules to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all residents. These rules will be enforced effective immediately.

Please take a moment to review the updated pool rules, with the new additions highlighted in red:

  1. Pool hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, weather permitting. Anyone found in the pool area outside of these hours will be considered trespassing, and the North Coventry Police will be notified.
  2. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
  3. Pool key tags must be visible at all times. Guests are limited during peak hours (12 PM – 4 PM daily) and holidays. Contact management if you need a key and tag.
  4. All guests must be accompanied by a resident/homeowner at all times. Residents are responsible for the actions of their guests.
  5. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult resident (18+). Teens aged 15-17 without an adult are limited to 1 guest. Parents are fully responsible for their children’s safety.
  6. No more than four (4) swimmers per resident are allowed, unless they are from the same household.
  7. No diving, acrobatics, running, pushing, wrestling, or any dangerous activities in and around the pool area.
  8. Profanity and excessive noise (e.g., music, shouting) are prohibited.
  9. Flotation devices, masks, fins, and water toys are restricted when the pool is crowded and should be removed when not in use. These items cannot be stored at the pool or restrooms.
  10. Glass and breakable containers are strictly prohibited in the pool area.
  11. Pets are not allowed inside the pool fence.
  12. Smoking is not permitted inside the pool fence.
  13. Proper swimwear must be worn at all times. Swim diapers are required for non-potty-trained swimmers.
  14. Defecation will result in immediate pool evacuation and closure for treatment. The responsible party will be charged for any resulting damages.
  15. Jumping, climbing, or forcing entry into the pool area is a violation and will result in the revocation of privileges. Unlawful entry is considered trespassing, and the North Coventry Police will be notified.
  16. Pool furniture is provided for your convenience and should be treated with care.
  17. Private parties, except for community events organized by the association, are not permitted.
  18. Non-swimmers must use life preservers, water wings, or other safety equipment.
  19. Keep the pool area clean by cleaning up after yourself and your guests.
  20. In case of inclement weather (e.g., thunder or lightning), vacate the pool immediately.

Please report any violations of these rules to management. Violations will result in the suspension or revocation of pool privileges.

In case of emergencies, call 911 using your cell phone.

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these new regulations. Our priority is to maintain a respectful and safe environment for all residents.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Best regards, The Coventry Pointe HOA Board

Honoring Heroes and Celebrating Safely: Happy Memorial Day, Coventry Pointe!

As we approach Memorial Day, let us take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

While this holiday is often associated with barbecues, gatherings, and the unofficial start of summer, it’s essential to prioritize safety as we celebrate.

Here are some guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend:

  • Grill Safety:
    • Keep grills a safe distance from your home, deck railings, and any overhanging branches
    • Never leave a lit grill unattended
    • Clean your grill before use to prevent flare-ups
    • Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the grilling area
  • Pool Safety:
    • Ensure proper adult supervision when children are in or around the pool
    • Encourage the use of  inflatable pool floats and arm bands for inexperienced swimmers
    • Enforce pool rules and ensure all gates are securely closed

As we gather with friends and family this Memorial Day, let’s remember the true meaning of this holiday. Take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes and express gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy.

We wish you a safe, meaningful, and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.
